A DLROW FOR EHT TAKING and Burning A Paper Plate - Towards A New Art

Nicole Polonsky's A DLROW FOR EHT TAKING a site-specific installation
at the gallery continues until 24 April.

In her work Polonsky responds to the domestic window as a liminal arena in which the private and public realms meet. Polonsky is interested in this as a locale where gestures towards activism may be performed, and political affiliations, belief systems and cherished hobbyhorses are voiced within the constraining parameters of the surrounding frame.

Steve Rushton's Burning A Paper Plate - Towards A New Art
- chapbook launch and exhibition - opens on 26 April from 2pm to 5pm - please note the opening will end promptly at 5pm but will reconvene at The Montague Arms nearby - 289 Queen's Road, London SE14 2PA

Burning A Paper Plate - Towards A New Art is both an exhibition and a collection of poetry about art, food and transformation, and at the opening Rushton will read from this collection.

He will also feature on Poets Anonymous - croydonradio.com - 12 April at 2pm and The Hello Goodbye Show - Resonance 104.4FM - 25 April at noon.

Copies of the book will be available at the opening, and also at the sales page of the publishers, erbacce-press price £4.95.

To burn a paper plate is great.
The stains of food that you just ate
Become with fire and smoke,
Much better not much worse, become
Another kind of universe.
